These pumps are now obsolete but there is a good replacement Option. SpaQuip Maxi-Flow pumps were very compact both in the wet end pump) and the motor. They also had a course thread meaning a replacement motor had to have the plumbing changed to suit. This was often very difficult due to tight fitting situations.

Now there is a New option that has the ability to use the existing plumbing. The plumbing locations are only slightly different so as long as there is even a little bit of give then these will fit onto the same fittings. These replacement motors are 50-60mm longer than some Maxi-Flo pumps (1st image) and the same length as others (2nd image), so you may need room behind your existing motor for these to fit. These motors come with multiple barrel unions so they fit most spa situations in 50mm, both course and fine thread.

These pumps were available in 2, 2.5 and 3hp. They were also available in 1 & 2 speed. So please check what your motor is. The replacements also come in these variations.
