Our His Story

Mark started in the Pool & Spa Industry at 16 working in a local Pool Shop, Briar Hill Pools.

After Graduating Yr 12 he worked at The Wholesaler Swimming Pool & Spa suppliers International/ Blue Sea Pools gaining valuable knowledge as the Import/Export manager and setting up their computer systems.

With the same company he became the Technical Adviser at Heathmont pool & Spa Shop.

Mark then took a Role as Pool & Spa Manager with Clorex Pools, managing 2 retail outlets and the service division.

Then Mark had a time overseas living In Russia & Germany.

Returning to Australia Mark founded Mark’s Pool & Spa service in Diamond Creek, Vic.

Then another stint Overseas in the USA both in Colorado and California.

Mark then founded the very successful Nillumbik Pool & Spa Service again in Victoria, where he focused in on Spas and became a Specialist Technician. Working with Balboa, SpaNet, Davey, SpaQuip and Others. It was also at this time that he discovered the K Chlor Salt Water Chlorinators that are so well built and lasting well.

Now Australia is really coming into a season where people want their pools warmer when they want. Very efficient Electric Heat Pumps with an efficiency over 20 are a great solution to this. Mark has chosen a couple of Premium brands that are working very well.

Now with all of this experience Mark is focusing on supplying Pool & Spa equipment that he believes in to all of Australia.

He has founded PoolnSpa Supplies Australia PoolnSpa.net where he isn’t selling everything but he is selling the products that he has researched and has seen work and stand the test of time in the field. Being a Pool & Spa service tech for all of these years Mark knows what brands work and what brands to stay away from. In 2023 Tim came onto the team and has very quickly become an invaluable and talented member of the team. He has since been appionted as Manager and is doing a great job taking care of Nillumbik Pool & Spa Service and serving customers very well.
